Damon completed his Master of Social Work in 2007 and has been a Wyoming Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2009 and a Colorado Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2010. OpenGate has maintained Wyoming Department of Health certification and provided substance use disorder services in Wyoming since 2013, and Damon has been a trained Prime For Life® instructor since 2013.
Attorneys throughout Wyoming regularly refer clients to Damon, as do other professionals and organizations. He works with adults whose matters involve Wyoming courts, probation and parole, and driver-license requirements.

Services and Clinical Approach
OpenGate's Wyoming Department of Health certification is current and active. OpenGate offers Comprehensive Alcohol and Drug Evaluation, Prime For Life® Individual Adult Education, and Outpatient Counseling (ASAM Level 1.5) as individual services for adults.
OpenGate applies The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition, to assessment, level-of-care recommendations, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing level-of-care review. Individual counseling may incorporate Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when clinically appropriate.

OpenGate's mission is to provide experienced, respectful, clinically sound substance use services and to make Wyoming-related evaluation, education, and outpatient counseling as clear and straightforward as possible.
OpenGate provides services by secure video telehealth (online) to adults physically located anywhere in Wyoming. For adults physically located in Colorado, OpenGate provides eligible Wyoming services by secure video telehealth (online) when the requested service falls within Damon's Colorado LCSW scope. Eligible Wyoming matters include Wyoming court, probation/parole, driver license, attorney-referral, or other Wyoming service requirements. OpenGate does not provide Colorado-approved DUI Level I or Level II education or treatment. For appointments by secure video telehealth (online), identity and physical location are verified at each session.
